akilah is definitely the lil adventurer. she and i went backpacking again this past weekend for the other class i am teaching. she had a blast, but fell apart completely in the car on the way there.... there were pictures taken by some students, i will see if i can get a hold of them!
here is one photo of after we returned from the trip... akilah apparently has learned how to lick her bowl clean... it was either that or drink her grey water... here, she apparently opted for the first way...
