Akilah turned one year old and is such a big girl! We had a tiny gathering of friends to celebrate, complete with a yummy gluten free carrot cake, singing and a candle. This past weekend Akilah's Nanna C. drove all the way down from PA to visit and brought all kinds of hugs and kissies and an amish made toy box. Yesterday Akilah said about 5 new words, and is talking up a storm. Still no walking yet, but standing on her own and crawling at lightning speeds. Here are some pictures from this month so far...
