Today felt like a big day. Akilah left with my Mom to head to Lancaster, PA for the next 8 days. This is her first adventure ever away from both Mama and Papa that is longer than a day and a half. They are off on a grand adventure, we can't wait to hear all about it! She calls it her Nanacation.
Today also marks the day I own my very first grown up couch. Woa. No more crappy back breaking futon, mattress on cinder blocks, camp chairs, or crappy microfiber sofa. Our spines are ever so grateful that we now have something supportive to sit on, especially because that is still how I spend my days.
