This past weekend we traveled to Pennsylvania to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday. We had a large, surprise up until a few days prior, party for her. It was so wonderful seeing family that we do not see very often; especially with all the new little munchkins running around! It is rare that my Nana's 10 great grandchildren are all together at the same time. (This was actually the first time.) So very special and what a wonderous occasion!

This was the first traveling adventure for us as a family of four. We flew and it went rather smoothly. Kaia has now been on a total of 8 flights and has slept through them all. Fingers crossed that she is able to do the same on our transatlantic flight this winter! Another learning - never travel again without Akilah's pillow. Never. :)
