Right now I am grateful for:
:: Tony's unexpected early (by a whole day!) arrival home from Indiana.
:: friends that spend the night while T is on the road.
:: being able to pee without vomiting. (The smell was just too intense during the first trimester.)
:: reaching week 15.
:: papaya enzyme with chlorophyll.
:: my work in progress attempt at switching from junk fast food to local restaurant food. (So far a local sausage and egg biscuit from the West End Bakery AND the cravings for mashed potatoes and gravy with peanut butter tofu from Rosetta's Kitchen are working in my favor today.)
:: Homemade paska bread made by my Aunt Arlene and sent in the mail. (I am pretty sure she usually only makes it at holiday time. That's love.) It makes the most delicious toast ever.
:: Milk. Earlier in the day I was also grateful for orange gatorade (okay, so I have not yet been able to
substitute everything with a healthier, closer to real food version...), but that moment has passed. Maybe tomorrow?
::Wrinkly, adorable bull mastiff faces.
:: This quote:
"There will be a time, not so far from now,
that you will look back on this phase of your life and instead of
condemning it or beating up on it—instead of blaming or guilting—you
will feel appreciation for it. Because you will understand that a
renewed desire for life was born out of this time period that will bring
you to physical heights that you could not have achieved without the
contrast that gave birth to this desire." -Abraham-Hicks™
