A Birthday Celebration at the Little Round Schoolhouse

I love celebrating Akilah's birthday at her school; it is just about the sweetest celebration ever!!!

First we join the children for lunch and then Becca tells the Birthday Story.

Then we all walk around Akilah in a circle while singing:

And then the birthday ring is lit and we sing happy birthday.

 Despite the fact that it had been pouring rain for a week straight, it was such a delightful celebration. I did enjoy hearing the pitter patter of the rain on the yurt.
