Kaia is now two weeks old! In celebration she had her very first "bath" today (I use quotation marks because babies don't actually need soap or lotion or any of that stuff for a long long time.) There are, of course, first bath photos (thanks Nancy!), but not for here. We don't do any of that silly baby stuff bathing nonsense (we keep things simple and relatively "baby stuff" free around here). I just climb in the tub first and she nurses while soaking in the water. So beautiful and most convenient.
We are just loving all this newborn goodness. Yum! Enjoy these fun photos instead.

We are so grateful that Nancy has been able to spend so much
time here with us! We are sad to see her leave tomorrow, but are sure her
family is eagerly awaiting her return.
