After leaving the EE center in Margahovit we traveled about 30 minutes west to the city of Vanadzor to spend the night. (We originally thought we would be staying at the EE center but they were not ready to host folks yet.)
In Vanadzor we stayed in an old soviet hotel; the first three photographs are of the teeny tiny sketchy elevator that took us up to the 4th floor where the hotel was located.

Our hotel was in this building on the 4th floor.

Apricots!!!!!!!!!! YUM!

Fancy! And insanely inexpensive. I think we paid 24-ish bucks for this room; it even included hot water!

That's our room on the right.
For dinner we found a pizza place and ate there only because it had wifi. Today is Father's Day so I was able to Skype with my dad while at the pizza place.
